About BIEC

Bureau for Investments and Economic Cycles is a private institution specializing in macroeconomic analysis of the Polish economy. The company's activity is based on more then 20 years of its founders' and owners' experience in the area of tracking, forecasting, and researching business cycles and performance of individual companies. The results of our analysis are delivered to individual recipients as well as published in major newspapers and internet portals. Maria Biec Ph.D. supervises works on all economic indexes and reports published by Bureau for Investments and Economic Cycles. She received her doctorate from Warsaw School of Economics, published a book on business cycle tracking techniques, more then 200 press articles, and more then 60 scientific articles. She cooperates with Center for International Research on Economic Tendency (CIRET) in Zurich, and Foundation for International Business and Economic Research in New York, participates in worldwide survey on economic tendencies in the World by Institut fur Wirtschaftforschung (IFO) in Munich, she works for Warsaw School of Economics, and used to cooperate as an adviser for the office of the Prime Minister of Poland.
